Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy

Care for the muscles, joints, bones, and tendons that keep you moving.

About this care

Your musculoskeletal system is everything that holds you up and moves you around: your muscles, bones, joints, tendons, and ligaments. When one of these parts is injured, overused, or worn down, the result is often pain, stiffness, weakness, or trouble doing everyday tasks. Orthopedic and musculoskeletal physical therapy is focused on getting these parts working well again.

This is a non-surgical, drug-free approach to pain and movement problems. We start by examining how you move, where it hurts, and what is limiting you. From there we build a treatment plan that may include guided exercise, stretching, hands-on techniques, and education about how to protect the area as it heals.

At 3DPT in Siloam Springs and Gentry, our goal is to treat the source of the problem, not just the symptom. Whether your pain came on suddenly or built up over time, we work with you to restore strength and motion so you can get back to your normal routine.

Conditions we treat

  • Low back pain and neck pain
  • Osteoarthritis and joint stiffness

  • Hip pain and limited hip mobility

Common questions

Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?

In Arkansas you can often begin physical therapy without a physician referral, though some insurance plans require one. We are happy to help you check your specific coverage.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on your condition and how your body responds. Some people improve in a few weeks, while others need a longer plan. We will give you an estimate after your first evaluation.

Will physical therapy hurt?

Therapy should challenge you, but it should not cause harmful pain. We work within your comfort level and adjust as you progress, and we want you to tell us how you are feeling.
